Best -Loved Casseroles!

I recently signed up at 'MyBlogSpark.com after seeing their 'button' on a few other blogs.

MyBlogSpark™ is a fun and exciting group of bloggers that have access to review new products and services and participate in exciting giveaways, surveys and events. The network provides “Sparks” of information directly to its members from some of the best known consumer brands in the country.

I got my first email from them the other day which I was rather excited about. I was asked to vote on a cover for a new Better Crocker Recipe booklet (which goes on sale in Dec 09). I was told I could share the cover of the one I voted for with my blog readers so I thought I'd post it here at my Cooking Den for you all to see.

This might not be the winner, but what I like about this photo (better than the others) is that it is all in one dish. I like making casseroles like this, layering ingredients then just popping it in the oven to finish off the cooking.

And what I love about the Betty Crocker Booklets is that there is a recipe for EVERY photo! I really don't like cookbooks that barely have any photos. I am more tempted to make the dishes that have an accompanying picture with it, so at least I can get a visual of how it's supposed to turn out.

I know in larger cookbooks you can't really expect a photo of every dish, but cookbooks that have no photos at all simply amaze me! I mean, who buys those things? If I pick up a cookbook, flick through it and see that there are no pictures, I put it straight back on the shelf.

The photo on this booklet also reminds me of one of my favorite casseroles that I shared with you recently....
